A CYS By You Post.
Last week, we asked you when it was not okay to wear sneakers. While we know that in this day and age, sneakers are almost always appropriate and acceptable, y’all still chipped in with some pretty (obvious but) interesting situations. Let’s take a look at what you said.

Job Interviews- Allen
This is actually a pretty solid answer, but my only response would be in the event you’re interviewing somewhere that’s in the sneaker industry or adjacent in some capacity.
Taking A Shower- Cameron
Well, maybe not in a private shower in the comfort of your own home…
Bed/Bad Weather- Tatum
As someone currently living in Portland, Oregon, I’m usually always wearing a pair of Terrex or a sneaker with some Gore-Tex in rain season. I really only get to wear my fun sneakers for 2, maybe 3 months out of the year.
To Bed- Jaden
You know, this makes a lot of sense, but sometimes you get back from a late night for whatever reason and you’re just so tired you pass out on the bed with all your clothes on, sneakers included.
A Wedding- Kelsey
Unless the couple says otherwise, but I would argue they are allowed unless the couple says otherwise. Either way, I bet I could still sneak some unassuming sneakers or even some sleek Jordans with my suit and get away with it.
Never- Seemingly Everyone
This is the right answer. It’s 2022, 20 years ago in the aughts there was a still a clear distinct line drawn as to where sneakers could and could not be worn. But as norms, identities and standards started to become a little less rigid and more fluid, so did the places and spaces where one could wear sneakers.
